I wish there was some way to put actual music up on fictionpress... In any case, being the teenage boy who just graduated from his braces and thick glasses to new stylish ones, I can appreciate some of this. I enjoyed reading that. Do you have a tune for it too? One thing (I dunno if it's deliberat or not) you switch from using "she" to "he". Even so, I love it. :-)
