Hello!

I liked the chapter (and Berone), but it was far too short. I timed myself while reading it and it only took me around two minutes to complete. Two minutes is long enough to get me sucked in and interested in the story, not long enough to end it.

But other than that, great. Keep writing!

Hello Dragon's Gem Studios (I like your username)!

I see some great potiental in this story. The title was what won me over at first(don't know why "Dragon's Wit" is so appealing, but it is). But why is 'the novel' included after it? Is there something else called Dragon's Wit?

Also, Ambergryph and Ravenna seem like interesting characters, but I do not, however, see how Ravenna can be half dark-elf, half sphnix, and a werewolf. Even the dragon/wolf thing doesn't seem logically, but at least you backed it up by saying that people in Arden aren't exactly fond of "mutts".

Despite this, the world they live in seems very unique. Mecenaries hired as a police force? Well, you don't see that everyday! Those the characters are compelling (I'm looking forward to learning more about them), I'm really hyped to see more of this "Arden".

Saying this, however, you seem to have a lot of fargment and run-on sentences in this. For example: "But it was for work, as she’d." I don't see how that would be a sentence. Also, during some of your explanations, you should spilt your sentences to make it flow smoothly and make it understandable (I got confused a few times). You're spelling, though, was perfect from what I see. Maybe have your chapters reviewed by a beta-reader before posting them - it helps a lot.

Other than that, great! Keep writing - I'll be watching. And oh, don't frown if you don't get too many reviews. If you look through the sections you'll find that most don't. The best way to get them is to get into the community and review others!
