Overall, this was an intriguing piece with an interesting ending. You use description very well, and tend not to go overboard in any areas (I hate it when people talk about one insignificant object for far too long; it makes it seem unnatural). For me, the most interesting line would have to be:

"Yes," Orren murmured. "A blind man does a different kind of looking."

'Oh,' you think, 'doesn't that seem odd?'

It does indeed, and it made me think very hard ;D

Overall, a good piece. I'm sorry that I won't be able to review the story you mentioned on your profile, as I'm afraid I simply won't have time to read my way through 20 odd chapters when I've another book to read at the moment :D

That was very well written, simply beautiful and touching. The characters were very real and well portrayed, especially their emotions. I don't think I could find anything to criticize.
