M, I liked it.

The plot was cute, and the ending was very sweet.
Jenn, though, seems way to weak. She's way too insecure, and I mean, I get that if one of the popular people proposed to... say... me, it wouldn't make sense. I also got the feeling that the characters were a little too generic... they weren't really as well defined as they could be.
Also, I felt a little lost... Don't know how that happened, but maybe a little more description would help. You also do a lot of talking in the story... maybe try showing versus telling. Show us Kevin hanging out with his jerk friends rather than tell us he does.
I liked your summary though, it brought me into the story.

For the most part, your grammar and mechanics are perfect, which is wonderful as there is not as much of that on fictionpress as there should be... I found just a few errors though:
2nd Chapter about halfway down: AS she speaks... I think you missed the s.
2nd Chapter near the end: “if you see all that,”... the I needs to be uppercase.

The plot is really very cute, and it was an enjoyable read. :)

i love this story! it's just too good all around. But one question in the ending when you say she doesn't respond is that a good no responce or a bad "stiff, don't want to kiss, you let go of me you hussy" kind of no responce?

this story is really great. i love that jenn doesn't let kevin have her right away just because he's hot and all that. that takes a lot of will. but u know, you should try writing stories that dont end up with the girl getting the guy, or vice versa. life usually isn't like that and i think it would have been a cool twist to the story if jenn did just walk away from kevin and never even given him a cahnce

I really loved it. I mean the simplicity works here, even with the minimal background info. There's enough to not be clueless. Very good descriptions; when it came to the popular and the nerdy groups, what you wrote was quite true. And I love his analyzation of why she didn't fall into his arms. Fantastic.
