first off, i love your name. if ever a baby girl is unlucky enough to be born to me, i'm naming her andromeda. i wish i shared the name of a rescued princess from greek mythology!

sorry... i get distracted easily... any how, i quite enjoyed reading your story. i really got a feel for your perspective. i've never been through very "extreme" weather... i was angry that so many people were trying to place blame for what was happening that they couldn't seem to find much time for fixing it.

i had friends who came and helped in some of the destroyed zones, and they brought back pics... it was humbling to see how much that nature can take away so quickly.

i really liked how you kept saying that you're just a kid from mississippi and that you're invisible. that's kinda how i feel sometimes-except for the mississippi part :D
