Rhysialen 2006-06-05 . chapter 1This is a wonderfully sharp poem with the right amount of descriptive words that both drew me in and kept its mystery. I thought it was begun and wrapped up very well with pinpointing the simple importance of the photograph and the, maybe, torment it represents for the poet... anyway, you have beautiful lines such as "dusk, musk, silk-screened romance, stranded" and "instead you haunt me in absentia"... The only thing that I have reserves about is the structure of the poem. Many of the line breaks are brilliant (such as in the first six lines and in the lines i mentioned before) but the sharp structure is a bit distracting from the words and the meaning generated by these words... but I very much enjoyed this poem, very beautiful... |
