Seems a more mature version of poems I wrote on the same subject.

Well put, better than I did I am sure!

Great expression here, I like the image of words bleeding out of a person, becasue expression can be hard and yet a release at the same time. Very good reflections on writing, uniquely expressed.

One word: wow. I love the cornucopia of word manipulation you have here. You can keep reading and come across something new each time.

I love:

"my thoughts have notcoagulatedmy speech, incoherent"

It's just wow. Great job.

Quite a dark thing you have going on here.

I loved this! You described the whole everything behind what happens when you have inspritaion and when you want to write perfectly! And you also had some awesome combination of words...

"the Words dance on my tongue"

That's an awesome description, i thought. words don't dance alot on my tongue, i constantly have writers block. Loved this poem tho! *keep writing* it rocked!

Jesse the Storyteller 2006-06-25 . chapter 1
I liked it a lot... especially loved the word pictures... with l e t t e r s... and such...

But the bit about braces kind of took away from the pretty picture of the poem... it's too humorous and immature... the rest of the poem is serious and descriptive... then that bit about the braces is just kind of distracting.

All in all a good poem, though. =)

And in response to your review -> the title was meant to be kinda funny... me laughing at myself so I don't sound TOO angsty. I'm one of those annoying people who fights back the pain by making stupid jokes. Heaven forbid someone take me too seriously.

I must say: I love that poem you have in your profile. Emily is my #1 fav. poet ever. Period. Anyway, I have read this poem. (I think I read parts of it days ago...but put off finishing) It is such fun to watch the images in my mind. You give interesting ones to ponder. The way you describe it...I'll have to read this again. I'm so tired. I wrote a poem, and it took a lot out of me. Go read it. Will you like it?
Nemonus 2006-06-12 . chapter 1
Nice! I can feel this almost like my own experience with it, but of course it's all you in this poem. The random bursts of italics are intriguing. I especially also like (though it is only because i identify with it; does that count?) "the Words dance on my tonguerising up the back of my throatlike bileyearning for air". The atmosphere of words as an essential enemy is interesting...
Dale Christopher 2006-06-06 . chapter 1
This is a more graphic description of poetry than I'm used to reading, but I have to admit its an original idea and for that, if nothing else, I liked it. Though I do like the emotion in it too. Good job.
