Something about the above sentence is awkward. That is the only dislike or 'correction' I have.

I sifted through your list of stories a couple of times. Okay, maybe 6 or 7 times, trying to decide what to read. I kept coming back to this one.

I love the whole relaxed feel to this. Nothing overly dramatic or emotional. I felt like I was there, sitting in that car with the wind blowing on me, thinking about nothing.

You did an excellent job of conveying that feeling. The way you started out with it, talked about where you had been, what you had read, etc... but kept coming back to "but I wasn't thinking about that, I wasn't thinking about anything." Really just kept me in that car, feeling the wind, enjoying the relaxing ride.

And then, Mr. Motorcycle man comes along, and you portrayed him very well. You didn't get caught up in some crazed fantasy, just plain fun! I guess that's what I liked best of all, the way that this whole piece is JUST PLAIN FUN.

Sweet mush! I love it! To be honest, I wasn't sure where this was going, and then the modern horses bit kicked in, and I got a little hint. I know the types of guys you mean, the ones who just zap in and out of life like they weren't there to begin with. But you remember the moments becuase that's all they are. Moments. It's cool, I like.
