Oh man, this was so interesting! I love that twist at the end. It made me snicker. At least his careless mistake came through for the better (is trying to be vague so she doesn't ruin the story for anyone who reads the reviews before the story).

On thing that popped out at me that I shall nitpick on:

"day Enmity High payed for their sins" - should be "paid"

No big really. I do it all the time. :P
