The rhyming was so effortless, and the other literary aspects of it were pretty much flawless. The story is an old one, of lovers being separated from circumstance, but your portrayal of it is excellent

oh, wow, that was beautiful!the rhyming was perfect, and actually complimented your words, rather than directing attention away from it, as rhyme sometimes does. the repetition you used fit nicely as well. very well done!

This was such a depressing poem. But in a way, it was quite liberating, actually. Exquisitely done. I have no grievances whatsoever: you're rhyming was virtually perfect and the wording was heaven to eyes. Great job!
