Very interesting, I love the duality between the east and west in this poem.

Favorite part - 'from a stave encrypted with scripture / and gift-wrapped with Warhol.'

It was weird when I first read this I read 'fails' as 'falls'.

There is something about the format of the first stanza that seems off, but I'm not sure why. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
