Pretty good. The style alone wins points with me. It's not exactly action-packed, but it doesn't need to be - it has all the neccesary elements - vampires with a thirst for blood and revenge. It really does seem like some 19th or 18th century 'literary piece'.

That was pretty good. I thought you created great imagery. I liked the line "He came to her on wings of shadow, from out of the vast blackening sky." Anyway, great job and keep up the good work.

I knew from the second I saw that it was nighttime that I was reading a tale of vampiristic proportions. Still, you had given me no reason to believe that you would romanticize such a dark creature and read on.

You did not disappoint me. Although your vampire (?) is on the dark-and-elegant side, he's also cruel and heartless. I like that.

All in all, not a bad story. Keep writing, my dear Panzuriel.

I liked this story, especially the first part. It was very forboding. The second part, about Cesar, was a little bit anticlimatic; it could have been spun out a little bit more and filled with more description to build the atmosphere. The basic plot was very good, however.

Two things I noted:1) For some reason, the title carries more weight in my mind as "The Shadowed Garden", I'm not sure why.2) I'm pretty sure that the name Emelie, if used as a french name, would have an accent (Emélie)
