Hey it was a really good story :] I liked it .. I like old caring women like Tutu who are supportive and everything nice but can give a good berating when its due.

P.s. I don't wanna sound like I'm nit picking but the only connection between a chest wound and brain waves would be if the heart stopped too long to send oxygen to the brain or too much blood loss(not sure about this one), and brain waves are detected with EEG

I really liked this. All of your characters were likable and the two couples had good chemistry.

A couple things though: the whole storyline with Rich getting shot was weird. Who was the guy? Why did he shoot Rich? It seemed random and there are better ways to get Rich in the hospital than a random shooter.

Also, the mpreg shocked me and really needed a warning. It's not everyone's cup of tea, after all (including mine). While it didn't ruin the story for me or anything, it did come out of nowhere.

Yawning is, in fact, contagious. And people yawn when they need to get their lungs filled with air because your lungs are too tired to function 100% and don't gather as much oxygen with each breath as they should. I'm not sure why it happens when your tired though.

For a first story with several chapters, it's alright but the plot has quite a few loopholes. I am not flaming, I hope you understand - I'm giving an honest opinion. Firstly, the plot seems forced..it is as if a lot of it has been written for the sake of it (like the part where Kai confesses about his family to Rich). The dialogues in many places (especially where Kai hears that Rich is gay) seems unrealistic and too dramatic. Also, the prologue is an entry to a journal and the rest of the story isn't? That is quite weird. Also, there are several loopholes in the plot - one of which is..who tried to kill Rich and why? I'm sure that people don't randomly come to people's houses and shoot them.

However, some parts of it is quite funny - especially the part about Kai being pregnant ;) (aww..). And, the lack of typos is really a feat. It's good that you've given all the characters a proper shape...:)

One thing that bothered me was the scene with the person that shot Rich. I thought that seemed out of place. You could have gotten Rich in the hospital (and in a near-death situation) by having him have an accident instead, rather than being shot, which seemed quite drastic.

Otherwise, I loved this story. And I liked that you showed different cultures through Cal and Kai. :)
