abuseim happy!!...i really thought the story going to end with words like ' this is not a fairytale, its a real world so happy ending is not going to happen..blah..blah..'...like some writer will do..but here you end it logically and perfectly..cause its still logical for them to get together and it is still not a happy ending but a work in progress that make me feel much better when reading it..so thank god for the ending..and the story is just perfect...love summer romance..~

abuseI think I'm really going to like this fic. And relate to it like whoa. *works at the public library as a page* It's excellently written so far, and I'm most definitely hooked. 8D

abusewow...thatts all I can say is wow...I really enjoyed reading your work, although for me it hits closer to home. I have a boyfriend who I met in my senior year of high school. He was an exchange student from Denmark and we dated for about three months. The entire time there was the always ever present fear of him eventually going home. Well when he finally did it was rather depressing and my mom made it even worse by not allowing me to spend the summer there...although we did come to the agreement that I could th next summer. We still have nine months to go. I talk to him at least once a week because of the time difference.

Point being your story reminded me so much of that experience. The park was the place to go and lay around and have fun make-out and talk. We didn't frequent the library but school was where we joked and had a lot of fun.

Good luck with whatever else you may do ^.^

I'm favoriting you.

abuseI would just like to tell you how ridiculously beautiful I found your story. I liked how it wasn't some huge, melodramatic epic with a singing-choir-of-angels-happy-ending, but more of a realistic, quiet love story, which, im my humble opinion, just made the whole story even more touching. I loved how you captured the realist nature of the story and characters without losing that sense of optimism.
Very rarely have I been so compelled to finish a story when I felt that I'm bound to get my heart ripped out at the end, and yet, despite the fact that a small voice in the back of my head kept screaming "OMG THEY'RE DOMED!", the characters were so endearing that I had to keep reading in the tiniest hope that they would have a happy ending. I was actually wailing with despair throughout most of the epilogue (especially when you opened with that OMG SO EVIL first line...my howls of misery could probably be heard throughout my entire street). I love the ambiguity of the ending (although, that little "DOMED" voice still hasn't stopped chirping in my ear) and how it lets the reader decide whether or not they live happily ever after or not.
Anyway, enough of this babble. I just wanted to tell you how much your story moved me (especially seeing as I'm hardly ever moved enough to come out of lurkdom to leave a review) and how, judging by my reaction to this story, you have an amazing talent for writing. I'm sorry if you wanted any negative critique or constructive critiscm, but I thought your story was just about perfect. *big grin*

abuseI really love this story. I love the lack of angst and the level of maturity of the two main characters, I even appreciate the fact that they haven't done much more than make-out. Very sweet. Oh, and their confessions about how they thought/felt about the other prior to the "kiss" was perfect. It's a scene that is often missing from stories, but does take place in real life - or at least in my overly sappy experience. ;)

abuseYou must have experience with being bossed around by little kids.:) The playing house part made me laugh out loud - right here, " '. . . Where's my room?' I asked in a whisper," funny!

Very sweet story. By the end of this chapter I just want to give Luke a hug and tell him everything will be okay.

abuse:D That was an outstanding story. I just loved their personalities and especially the way they met, through the library. I've been volunteering at a library for a few years now, so I really connected with their situation. (Especially shifting the shelves).

I'm glad everything wasn't just peachy for them after Luke went home that summer. It made it so much more realistic. And the way they lost contact for years (especially over some stupid argument) was also very realistic.

:) I loved it.

abuseGreat story! It was such a sweet story, I'm in love with it :) Both of your characters were really cute, I loved everything about them... I was so sad when I read they had stop talking T__T I'm so glad that at the end they were together, such a sweet ending :)

abuseOmigod...
*melts* Ah, the end was so sappy and delicious. For a short little story, this was quite good. I have also volunteered in a library, and I know well the tedium of which you speak.

abuseHey, GREAT story. I absolutely loved it, and if I was Luke, I sure would have cried--both when leaving Alexander and finding him again. I am SO glad they found each other again. This story is in many ways just perfect.

abuseThis story is so bittersweet that I had no idea whether to squee or cry at the end. Well, it literally has a happy ending and all but it doesn't end in the absolute and-they-lived-happily-ever-after kind of way. Its ending is more like time-will-tell-whether-this-works-out-or-not. That's exactly what makes it so wonderful and realistic.

The whole story is remarkably realistic, and Alexander and Luke's awkwardness and hesitancy that continue through the whole story from the first chapter to the last lines of the epiloque is really endearing. One of the best stories I have ever read on FictionPress. I would give a lot to have your skill at writing.

abuseGoshdamn, lmao, I love this story. I actually somewhat forgot about it, thinking you weren't ever going to finish it but dude, you should've seen my face when I got a chapter alert for this story. [I don't check my email much.] I just about peed my pants, haha. I am bummed that they stopped talking but it's very realistic, lol, I have some online friends and sometimes that happens. It's weird but I know exactly why how they both felt. I am so glad they got to see each other again. It was adorable that Luke went back to find that book and it was even more adorable that Alexander had it. Gosh, I love these two, I love this story. And you're friggen awesome, haha.

:cough:Asequelwouldbefrikkenawesome.:cough:

lmao. Lovely story and good characters.

This is going on my favorites.
