Yeah it's a good piece of stream of consciousness writing, written while i was in japan (did you guess?). I don't know where it's gonna go, or how everything will link up but i'm really looking fwd to writing more of it and seeing what happens!

I do want to write the rest when I'm in japan again, but we'll see how it goes...

The title is merely the japanese equivalent of "pulp detective story", or something to that effect.

hey, man, long time no chat. i see your exploits in japan have rubbed off in your writing. great! part one was invigorating, fast-paced, and amusing. it's a nice change from the gloom and doom of yours i usually read...not that i don't also love your gloom and doom.

the multiple chapters put me off at first, but the chapters are short enough that i was able to read all of this pretty quickly. it really does work best this way. looking forward to part two. :) uh...maybe you should make it a separate post, though? i don't know, whatever works for you. hope you put up more soon.

oh, one other thing -- just what does the title mean? i guess i could look it up, but, yeah, i'm lazy.
