i really do like your writing style. this poem specifically stands out to me. i don't think we ever really know the answers to these questions. excellent job!

I really like this, I think people are right when they say that you always remember your first love.

Me again! I love this one. Yes I am still called young but I know what its like to have a broken heart and I can really relate to this poem. I really know how you feel in the end when you talk about not letting anyone else in. I had that problem until I met my now boyfriend. He just kinda found a way in, but I'm glad he did. I agree with the risk thing too. Some advice if you don't mind to much, you might try adding stanzas (I think thats what they are called) they might make it sound better (not that it sounds bad now at all). KEEP WRITING!

Because the more you give love, the more love returns to you. It is very hard to live a life with your heart hardened. The best way to heal your heart is to love again - it will take time, but you can do it.

Wonderfully written IMHO. I've lived this life, and am learning to risk love again. It's not easy, but in time you can learn to love again.
