This sent chills down my spine, it's beautifully written! I think the first two lines "shoot me with arrows (stop throwing knives)" really hit the reader (at least me) and makes you just keep reading. I like the happy metaphoric clichés and then the "white. hot. heat", it's really well done, this poem, is just, marvelous.
