It feels like a good poem and it started well, but towards the middle I began to get confused about who was telling the story. Were you switching back between characters? Maybe that was just me being stupid. . . Anyway, the whole thing FELT like a good poem, if you know what I mean. Your efforts were not wasted in writing this poem, I assure you.
