Apologies from before accepted :) Don't worry about it. I should have taken the time to realize it... I loved these last couple of chapters. It's a shame fiction press is being annoyingly slow and i'm not getting alerts...

I really liked reading about their meal, the way you turned something so simple into something that she'd never experienced was interesting to say in the least. Keep writing and I look forward to reading more.

Another good chapter. Before, I wasn't trying to have a dig about the fact that it was inspired by Unleashed - I was just pointing out that I thought it was a little too like it so far, minus the werewolf thing. It's a great concept and you're a good writer.

This would have been a great story but it reminds me too much of Jet Li's film unleashed... The collar and the leash is exactly the same, the underground fights where he got his money, even down to the way that the truck ran into them. Did you do it intentionally?

As I've said before the concept is wonderful and the way you portray the emotions of this abused child is uncanny, you do have a way with words.

Now I'll play devil's advocate since you admit it needs editing. Intravenous is not so easy as you might think, if she’s scared and resisting those are hard to get even for someone trained in health care, even if you don’t give a damn if she gets phlebitis or if her veins collapse is still going to be hard because veins are easily pierced, so why bother trying to forcibly inject an intravenous drug when there are so many subcutaneous and intramuscular ones that'll do the work? Sometimes less is more, just mention the needle, do it in her shoulder if you’re going for intramuscular (takes a little bit longer for it to work but the effects last a lot more) or a little bit higher if you’re going for subcutaneous (that’s almost as quick as it would be if you did intravenous and you don't have to aim, that's what they do with people with alergies or asthma) or do it in the neck (that will be even quicker and it will also reinforce the idea that they treat her like an animal).
