| Getuie 2008-02-15 ch 1, | abuseOkay, first I thought 'don't laugh, this is a real, open, honest entry'... but I couldn't help but grin at the insults... Goodness, except for how wonderfully and cleverly expressed those insults were, it was like reading my own online journal once again. I think my favourite pasttime is to find new ways of insulting myself... So yeah, initially you had me grinning in amusement. then the question came to mind - which you answered just as I thought it - 'what is writing if that's not what you're doing?' And then you use this amazing imagery to say exactly how you feel in a completely understandable and tangible manner, and I can't help but grin again at the contrast of meaning and expression when in the very act of declaring a lack of talent you show yourself to be talented. This is an old entry, so I don't know how much this still represents what you feel... but if you still feel the same way, don't :-P Facinating to read though. Thanks for sharing. I don't know why you did, but it was refreshing to read someone else's thoughts. Kind of made me wish I could read some more. |
