dude. katelyn. where have you been?seriously. i was getting nervous that you had fallen off the planet. but your post reassured me that that didn't happen.

ANYWAY. you may possibly be at your poetical best these days. what's the deal? something in that canadian water of yours? no, but seriously, i pretty much adore this. i don't know how you come up with this stuff... because it sounds ridiculously natural, but there's no way that that could ever just flow from my brain. i'm pretty sure that grants you the title of creative genius.

anyway, hope you are doing well. we better talk, ASAP. seriously.

"I wanted to sink past the past and become part of it.

Endless moments behind shadow bars, to me, were enough.

After a hundred years of stony emotion, I was ready to crumble into sand and dissolve into places I had never been."

I loveloveloveadorelove those three lines. Especially the "sink past the past" and "dissolve into places I had never been" parts.

Dude, seriously, while I really do like your story writing, I WORSHIP your poetry.

I also like "Love walked around me in decades". I love the tone of this poem. It's sort of wistfully pondering upon things that one shouldn't really ponder upon because nothing will come out of it except more despair and regrets. Haha. If you know what I mean?

Love it. Keep up the good job, and I want you to regurgitate some more words for me.
