Man, I iwsh I had a Cody when I was in highschool, seriously! Rain really sounds like me. I am definitely not the typical black girl. Love this story!

I really like this story. It's so hard to find stories like this.

“You got that right,” Rain sighed. “But enough about me. Doesn’t it feel weird to be surrounded by ghetto black people all the time? I mean you’re a skater, you probably like alternative rock, and watch Laguna Beach.”

“Um skateboarder,” Cody corrected her and smiled. “And I only like Laguna Beach because LC is smoking. But you’re right. It does feel weird. I wasn’t ready for this.”

That WHOLE part made me laugh, hahaha.

good story. i like it. it really really, really, needs to be rewritten. and it needs more detail about somethings. like i didn't know that cody had a brother. maybe i missed that paragraph. and then u could go into more depth about ur characters. build them, make them stronger. neway. i do like this story. and i love cody.

Great to see you back. I really like this story and Ihave it marked in my favorites. I will be looking for the re-write. I hope to see what happen after the first kiss between Cod and Ran in the car, What happens after he meets her on the porch and what the future holds.

this is a very good story. its funny that its my autobiography. i got to read it all over.

Guh, I jus finished this and I loved it. God, I cried! And it wasn't even that sad but Hands Down is my favorite song and guh, yeah you do need a sequel.

You can add me to the list of people who desire a sequel. What appealed to be in this story was how it looked at the issues of Black and white from the side of a white person attending a school that is otherwise black instead of a black person moving to a new school where everyone else is white.

Please give us a sequel to this story. This is one of mny favorite stories on this site. We need to know what happen with the baby and we need to see the relationship blossom and Rain develop in the confident young woman can be.
