squiggle-line 2006-08-28 ch 1,	abuseOh, woah. I definitely wasn't expecting that. A nice mixture of humor and bitter irony. A bit confusing: "His then-girlfriend Kathryn believed that [Heather?] was fatally allergic to nuts..." I wasn't sure who was allergic at first... Nice.

My only nitpick is really with this sentence: "His reasoning was that he had come full circle, so why not begin again where it all started and not make the same mistakes?" Is the "his reasoning was that" even necessary? I don't know -- somehow that part seemed a little awkward to me. Otherwise, quite good.

The irony at the end was done really well. "Some days, not even one’s lucky pair of Spongebob Squarepants boxers make a difference." -- I'm not sure if "make" is supposed to be in present tense...
