This piece of writing was very interesting. I liked the way parts of it rhymed and parts of it didn't. I also like the way at the end you wrote "just like me" I think that was a very powerful way to end the story. I really connected with the line about wearing her hospital ID braclets with a sick pride. A lot of girls at the residential treatment program I live at do the same thing for the first few days after they come back from the hospital. It's interesting how when your self esteem is so low you find different things to be proud of that other people think is just plain weird.
