| ARB 2007-07-14 ch 10, | I must admit that I mostly skimmed, but I think your characters are this story's real strength. The idea for the world is also awesome, though in practice, the execution is not quite so elegant. There are just a lot of things about the world that seem to clash - Mostly dealing with the magic. Where did magic come from? If the Emperor hunts down magic users, then how are there so many? And how do they keep hidden? The main thing I would change is the whole hunting down magic users thing - just, soften it a little in order to make the scenario make sense. That's all from me for now. I'll keep reading. |
