 Ironic Presence 2006-10-26 . chapter 1HALLELUJAH!
Finally, a boy who understands that sex isn't everything. I'm serious. I take a Music Theory class, which is mostly guys, and (I'm one of two girls in the class) all they talk about UNRESTRAINED is sex and everything you just discussed. It makes me almost think that there are no guys out there that care enough to sacrifice for their future wives (I mean, one of the guys in the class said he'd cheat on his wife).
This is going on my faves list, just to let you know--I'll look at it and have hope.
God bless. |
The Postscript 2006-06-26 . chapter 1Interesting and informative. I have to be honest, though - right when I clicked on the link from my author alert to read this piece you've put together the one comment that I thought was, "that's a lot of words." Try breaking this into smaller paragraphs, especially when you are making a transition between thoughts. It will make it a whole lot easier to read and grasp, trust me.
Also, I think this would be clearer if you laid your thoughts out and actually defined and broke down what makes sexual temptation. (ie **, exotic dancing, etc). If you make this more clear and concise by just touching a little more in depth and make definite paragraphs, this will be a moving, powerful essay. Break the history apart from the advice and likewise with the bible refrences. Keep writing, this is almost there. |
JennieMR 2006-06-26 . chapter 1It is refreshing to see a guy saying stuff like this, and I know my husband would agree 100% with you. It is not a struggle only for men, though, because many women have the same problem.
THe hero in my book "Where is Peace", is a young man striving to live pure. You might wanna give it a glance, even though it's mainly a chick book. lol
Thanks for posting this. I'll read your story. |
