| sylvia's syndrome 2006-06-30 ch 1,  | abuseVery nice. I didn’t like the two italicized lines at first, but they grew on me as I read the poem. The rhyming was well done. It didn’t sound forced, like rhymes tend to do. This made me think of the battles in Lord of the Rings, particularly the scenes in the movies where they show men leaving their homes to go meet their almost-certain deaths. … I’m such a geek. Anyway, I really enjoyed this poem. Keep up the good work! |
