The Sleep Of Reason 2008-07-11 . chapter 1Great writing, and so true at that
It seems that everything these days is based on getting with
someone and having sex, like you hear so many people say
"I don't want to die a virgin!" not any saying "I don't want to die without doing something significant to make this world in the least but better"
I mean, I still believe there is still the chance of love out there
But who is willing to go look for it these days?
You won't find it on the corner in a mini skirt! And what ticks ME off the most is that people think you're inadequate when you're not with someone 24/7
You have a boyfriend?
Uh... no
*insert jokes about how you could never get a guy if you tried or how you're probably gay*
oh please, grow up |
 Koharu Mitsuki 2006-07-11 . chapter 1So true.
Even today, most girls are more perverse than boys. It's disgusting.
Nice essay.

 Luna Lapella 2006-07-10 . chapter 1Damn right.
Apparently, the opposite gender is the best thing in the world, and unless you have tons of sex and maybe get married, then you haven't lived.
What. The. Crap.
It's everywhere. You can't even read a book or watch a movie without a love plot. And often, it isn't even a good plot. They just throw in some hot girl for the guy to randomly fall in love with. |
Ness3665 2006-07-07 . chapter 1Wow. I agree with most everything you say... okay then. Everything you say. This essay was either well edited or well thought out... or your anger made it so your essay became better. Well, anyways... Love is an excuse, now. It's an excuse for sex, it's an excuse for perversion... right now, I'm betting most people haven't ever even FACED love. They've faced lust. And lust is powerful in a burst.
To explain. Lust is a short burst of emotion, but it's pretty powerful - powerful enough to make you think it's love.
Then again, there's love. It is not very strong at first, but it gets stronger and stronger as the relationship lasts longer. Eventually, it gets to be ten times more powerful than lust itself.
Well written essay. Keep writing.
10/10

Edward Michaels 2006-07-06 . chapter 1I believe the defining word for a person who doesn't have any desire for the opposite sex or even the same sex is called "asexual". If anyone -else- feels the need to be a wiseass, whip out that word. And if they don't understand it, tell them to get out and look it up.
Also, I believe the defining word for the type of person you describe as "girlchickbitchslutwhoreprostitute" is idiot, shallow, along with many more negative adjectives.
But onto the point.
Even if you did write this while in an aggrivated mood, it still holds a great deal of truth. You're very much correct in telling people "how it is," and by that I mean the nature of the teenage population today. Good to see someone else who finds it so... disturbing, if you will. D:
I liked this, even if it was short. Thank goodness there are people (teenagers, moreso) left who aren't "jamming" with the "pimp mah hoes" music. :/ |
ghostless87 2006-07-05 . chapter 1I totally feel you with the "none of the above" thing. I don't define my sexuality. Also, I think you are on the right track with love.
If I date someone however, it's because I want to know them as a person and get closer to them. I don't need to kiss them or even have sex.
I hope I fall in love someday...just I can feel what it's like. |
