Ah Prometheus, splendid! The first stanza is quite rich, and then the rhetorical questions are quite insightful.

Your preface reminded me of the movie 'Blood Diamond'. Your poem is really good and well thought out. I enjoyed it. You might like my poem Night Storm, it's similar in deapth to yours.

Wow, I really do love this one to pieces! It starts out very brightly, but it grows ill in the second verse, and the third one explains life and death and the cycles that make up the ENTIRITY of nature--I have such passion in the belief that cycles are how nature thrives (and that humans are on a one-way path of destruction). Absolutely gorgeous! Wonderful job!

The fourth verse is absolutely gorgeous: "reflecting malaquite green grasses' sheen, / as yellow fills our heart with reveries, / and memories of fires inside a cave". Just wow. That's brilliant.
