I like them, they give me a little bit to go on. Sure they might not be professional, but they're nice, and I think that they add to the experience of reading it. Instead of reading a poem, you read it with a sense of purpose. Unless you're cryptic and don't want anyone to know why you're writing, or you're really famous, it's interesting to see things about what authors think of their own work. If you say that the piece sucks, we can correct that view point, if you say it's awesome, we can also correct that. Hell, we're not pro's on here, this is to help people find their artistic selves. A doctor cannot help a patient unless the patient tells him where it hurts.)
