ch 1,  | abuseFirst off- I enjoyed reading this. I really did. The characters were believable and I liked seeing them mixed with your main character's opinions. Also, Sherrie was easy to like--not perfect, thankfully, but likeable.I'd say there was enough detail to get the general ideas across. I'm not trying to sound preachy hear (I, for one, could really use improvement in my writing) but maybe you could work with detals more to give the setting and feel of the scene. You don't have to say up front where she is, but make it known through details, if that makes any sense. The chapter was a little long, but that's only compared to everything else, which are normally shorter chapters.Again, I really enjoyed this. I'd love to see where you go with it! |
