I take it that you are an avid follower of Henry David Thoreau. "Simplify, simplify, simplify." I enjoyed this poem. However, I thought that perhaps it would have done better with more vividly descriptive language. But I digress, poetry is an art form, and although one can certainly improve in their skill, all different sorts are genuine, and equally appreciated. I thank you heartily for the reviews, and I will try to incorporate your advice into my writing.
