I love how you can just come up these awesome scenarios, and they actually seem plausible in a "That would never happen to me" sort of way. This story again sent me on a ride trying to figure out what his dream meant and what was happening with his parents and all. I was almost postive that with the last dream he would figure out not to kill his dad. But there you go again, doing the unexpected. He shot himself! well kind of. lol. One of my favorite lines in this story is "He fell one way; I fell the other." I don't know why it is just one of those lines that makes me remember the story for a long time. Anyways again loved it. I don't think I could hate anything you write. Keep the brain a'churning. ~Tyer

Written 2008-04-08 ch 19,	abusewhat a gorgeous ending! I read the first part of this story ages ago, but I don't think I ever finished. It was an amazing end. This is the kind of story that you can't forget.

Eclairs 2008-01-04 ch 19,	abuseI liked this story. Even though the main character, Curver died. I'm not saying i like stories with death endings or whatever. It's just nice that for once, there's no 'happily ever after' or in this case, a happy ending. Maybe it was, who knows? It was different too. How the point of view was a guys instead of girls. This is the first story i've read that actually has a guy as the main character and point of view. I kind of hoped that Kiwi and Curver got together. It was sad that Cass died and Curver finally realised she had feelings for him. I hated Vex cos' he was like the villian in this story. LOL. Are Terry and Curver mates again? Again, i liked this story. I love the author! He/she writes great stories!
Suneri 2007-12-24 ch 19,	abuseAHH. NOO! CURVER! CASSIDY! KATRI! NO! The ending is so sad and so beautiful and so perfect in every way. Oh Curver, so clueless about how Cassidy feels. And Kiwi, for that matter. AND oh _Curver_, hating being an altered one, and his whole tragic background. It's interesting how he lied to protect himself, how he hated his mother all along. The story is perfectly paced, with fascinating, faceted characters. I love how Curver has his darkness but is also a decent guy. I love how Katri is much nicer than she let on at first. I love how Terry eventually came to terms with what Curver is, and I love how Kiwi is less involved in BLACKOUT than we all thought. This piece is sparse, harsh, and wonderful. I love--and hate, I suppose, for how accurate it is--your portrayal of humanity's general hatred for those different of it. Your war and random attacks on altered ones--and humans--is exactly right, a beautiful commentary, whether you meant it or not, of the genocide and suffering present in the world. And the dreams provide a wonderful thread of continuity throughout the piece, culminating in the wonderful, lovely ending segment. Bravo.

Skido 2007-09-12 ch 19,	abuseThe ending is beautiful. And there's a sense of reality in this story that I don't see everyday. It's all so believable, and you create such beautiful characters. And by beautiful I mean their personalities, the way they think and all that. Brilliant work.

Yes, Curver was a little bit on the emo side in this after Cass died, eh? Understandable, though. Hmm...hm...hm... Peace, love and crack on a stick P.S. Hope Vex burns in human hell, whereas he would never burn in the altered ones hell. ...Uhm. Yeah.
Chiclets 2007-08-18 ch 19,	abuseWow. Awesome. I loved this. And one of the reasons I liked it so much was because it seemed very real. It wasn't like a lot of cheesy (good, but cheesy nonetheless) stories in which there might've been a sad ending but was still adorable/cute/fluffy/whatever. At the end of Edge 8 I felt empty... I don't know if that makes any sense at all, but I really enjoyed this story despite the sadness to it.
