| Edgar Wellington 2006-07-15 ch 1, | abuseSplendid...so evocative. There are two things about this that make me believe. First, unless one is dead, or in the wrong place, it can't be helped but to be drawn into the scene, both the physical parts and the MC's mental imagery and dreams. The second is that this piece has the feel of truth to it, which is so essential. I like lines like: "Can I sell my home, would it be enough to buy his love?" This is filled with levels of desperation. Home, home which can be thought to be literally worth x dollars. But this one sentence captures the real dispair. Home where the heart is, so it's as if selling your soul to the devil. My only complaint is that some of the rhyming is a tad distracting...don't get me wrong, most of it is good, signature, yours... Nice piece. |

I spend everyday in my life thinking so much, and sharing so much, but the sentiment is never returned. Ps. Thanks for the review. Don't worry.. I get that often, the people laughing at me business..I say whatever's on my mind, and people just happen to find it amusing. I don't mind it, laughter is great for the soul. Pps.
