this is so simple and paints such a strong picture. i'm very stongly reminded of the book "sitting in the club car drinking rum and karma kola: a manual of etiquette for ladies crossing canada by train" by paulette jiles. she's a canadian author, you should try to find a copy. i'm sure you'll enjoy it, her style seems very similar to yours.

The format alone is wonderful, but the words within make this poem excel past perfection. Lovely.

this is about that last 'Friends' episode huh? sweet job capturing it. this is a really shortly cute story. the ending couldn't be more perfect. ~*

You know your writing has come such a long way from when I first started reading your stuff. You are probably one of the oldest of my favourite authors that I've been visiting for...and every single piece never disappoints me, only stuns me by the seemingly impossible improvement from the last masterpierce.

This is deep and thoughtfull, and the image of watching the tv and turning it off is so vivid it really enhances everything in this. I know how you feel, and this is just well put. The last lines, in themselves are tearjerkers :"(you don’t have to fly ‘round the world to find me when I’m right here)
