I can relate to this. I am the child of a ACOA and married to an ACOA. My husband tries, but it's hard for him to have conversations. He is good to our son and does things with him.

My Father is selfish and full of fear. Depression is our family curse now. He does not drink, and neither does my husband. But my brother does.

Get me off this Broken Ride. DysFUNction is what it's all about.

i also, about a few months ago, made a vow to never become an alcoholic or to treat my child soo harsh. its really great when you know ppl who went through the same thing as me. great poem!
