I'm so sad this story is over! D: I wasn't crazy about it the first chapters because it seemed pretty cliched but now I know it's incredibly original and intense. This was such a good story and I loved all the characters, especially Alex and Ariel :)

Great way to start off the story! I thought it was fate for me to read this because my iTunes was playing Greenday's "Give Me Novocaine" and your chapter title was the same thing LOL :) Anyways, I can't believe Eric and whatever the bride's name is did that to Sayuri! I would be so mad :P You did a great job with how you started the story ! :D

Uh... Wow. I skipped through half the story just because I'm one of those pesky creatures that likes reading the last page before she reads the whole story - so it's really that I read the first two chapters and then the last - (the official version is that I just want to make sure it has a happy ending *sheepish grin*) and just wow. I read the last chapter, and then went back to the first and read the entire story and again WOW. You had me crying. That has NEVER happened to me in a story before. And I read a lot. And ok, so maybe I was a little tender today but still.
And you characters and your story are just amazing. Really. Cliche but in such a good way and just wow. ... Uhm so yeah, you get the point... maybe I'll just come back when I'm more coherent. But great story :) :)

i want to share my story while reading this story; i finished this story less than a day because i was eager to give you an review that i love this story, i always give reviews by the end of the story. i didn't sleep i didn't eat hell i cant even go to the bathroom, i just locked my self in my room alday. Mind you i really cried at the story.

i want to say is publish this a book, this will be a hit, maybe not hit lake harry potter but hit for romance.. FOR ME, MY OPINION.MY. is that your story is better than the story against all odds (guys its my opinion so don't take it too hard for those myrika fans) publish this as a book i will support you.. :)

okay...honestly this is my third time reading this story, it one of my favourites. i just love the character sayuri, she picks herself up every time no matter what sort of really bad that ppl keep doing to her. i like the way she's portrayed and her bitter sweet love story with vincent is really good as well!

Just reread this story for what has to be the 20th time. It makes me cry every time.

Talk about tugging at one's heart-strings! It was SO good. I think there were a couple times that I almost cried, that's how good it was. And just so I can say this is constructive criticism, I don't like reading bad words cause it just makes me think less of the person and...well it kinda offends me, but it was COMPLETELY worth it.

I really enjoyed this story. The chemistry was amazingly hot! (Which is probably why it won the SKOW best chem award.)Just wanted to say great job!

So... Two years after this story's been completed, I've found it and finished reading it. I HAVE read all the way up to chapter 22 but... i find that this is my ABSOLUTE favorite chapter of this amazing story. It's been an amazing ride that I've completely enjoyed.

But I must say that this chapter (20) took the cake for me. The angst, the drama, the sheer emotionalness of it - it all hits you really hard. Wonderful job on it. I believe that it's really this chapter that made me connect honestly and truly with Sayuri and Vincent.

I can still feel the sympathy that I have for Sayuri because of all the shit Eric has put her through and while I was a bit angry at Vincent, I also felt a bit of pity for him because I knew that it would be a huge mistake if he honestly stuck with his decision. It's the kind of pity you feel for people you know are screwing their lives over and can fix it but just won't. Luckily, I finished reading and know he's going to end up making the right decision after a hideous amount of time. ;) As for Eric... While I can see where exactly he's coming from and I understand... I seriously can't help but hope that karma becomes the honest vengeful bitch that she is and bites him in the ass. BADLY.

Sayuri's last lines to him, "What goes around comes around, Eric. One day you're going to wake up and you're not going to recognize the monster you've become and the monster you've made of the people around you." were honestly my ABSOLUTE favorite in this whole entire story. They gave me that feeling of quiet astonishment yet fit so well and, in all honestly, I think it was one of the best ways of getting revenge that she could have chosen. Even if she didn't mean for it to be so. I'm also curious as to how he reacted to those lines and what would effect they had on him in the coming weeks/months/years.

All in all, this was an absolute JOY to read. It was one of those rare stories that actually leave you feeling content and complete. I absolutely adored the characters and you've played everything out nicely. Thanks very much for posting up (and leaving up) this amazing story for me to read.
