I love this. It's more than the rejection of another person's savior...it's a claiming and acceptence of responsibility. I love what is said and how it is said. Wonderful poem.

Hey, I'm a Christian, and I feel that way myself sometimes. I liked the line: "I doubt he knew me; I was a few thousand years / too late / upon the scene." The whole poem really made me think. Keep writing!
