| friend2more 2006-08-30 ch 1, | Fascinating! I have never read a poem that so intricately examines a human smile. It seems to me to speak of how much a smile... one single smile cna communicate to you about how a person is feeling, and how smiles can be perceived in many different ways. If you wrote this for a particular person, I think she would be incredibly touched to know that you put so much thought into something so often associated with adoration (the smile :) |
| Femme de Dieu 2006-07-24 ch 1, | I hardly know what to say about this piece. This line made me laugh "A glistening crevice, speaks plasticity" What a way to describe breast augmentation! haha I liked the description of looking into her eyes in the second stanza. The last two lines are breathtaking, and leave me speechless. I'm sorry, I truly didn't mean to offend, and truly didn't mean to imply that you give no thought to your writing. It is plainly apparent that you do. No one can come up with such perfect words without effort. (at least I don't think so) But thanks for clarifying that point. Because it would be truly unbelievably amazing if all of that just came flowing straight out of your mind/heart, through your pencil or keyboard and onto the white space. I can sense that there is a lot of yourself, and a lot of passion, that goes in/to your work. In the meantime, before I get my divine collection together, you might enjoy reading 38, 49, 53, 82, 83. All have a spiritual bent. (I posted a lot before realizing I could place them in secondary genres, so some don't have that clue to them.) Then 77/76/75 are also of spiritual nature-- but deal with that internal battle we face our whole lives through as imperfect beings. (read them in that order, also, please) Anyhow, IF you have time, and are so inclined. Not forcing or begging, mind you. For then it would be meaningless. =) Do I know you? You seem way too familiar to me. As if you know who I am, but I'm not quite certain who you are. HOWEVER, I must tell you...I have a policy, a very strict one. I will review, and enjoy exchanging reviews and will even have somewhat of a "camaraderie" via this means, but I am "cautious as a serpent, and innocent as a dove" (ties to my name)-- and so do not get personally involved via email or otherwise. I hope this does not dissuade you from continuing to read and review. If so, I am sorry, for I truly do enjoy your reviews and your work. I will, however, keep an eye on your continued postings in any case. =) (and hey, thanks, i am flattered by the invitation, though) Truly, Tourterelle =) |
