FreeDaChickens 2008-01-04 ch 1,	abuseI think I'm missing something major (because it definitely seems to have a very complex back story), but I really like this. The relationship between the two, the reversal of roles (my favorite part -- Zack going from vulnerable to controlling -- so hot!), the absolute amazing smut. :) "The Control" was a little weird, but I'm guessing that's the back story? Again, this is me not knowing the back story, but I think this could have been done a little better as a stand-alone oneshot without the part about The Control. Adding that gives it more of a fantasy/sci-fi feeling. Without that, it still would have been very hot, but more realistic. Anyway, I really like that, and look forward to reading more of your stories! FreeDaChickens

Everything doesn't seem fully explained though... is there a story this is based off of? What is this about the twenty-third?! I understand if you want to keep this as a one-shot and perserve the mystery, but it feels like this story needs more. :\

Jeoal 2006-07-27 ch 1,	abuseWhile I was reading this, some very mellow, sort of ‘lounge music’ came on over my playlist, and I thought that it suited pretty well. Not sure if that’s just weird or actually reasonable. You know, even though this story has so much underlying tenseness to it, there’s still that feeling of no one being overly anxious about anything, really (Milo’s calmness really blankets them) even though the last part of the last scene makes me raise my eyebrows. Not even during the heated part of their exchange did either of them get too frantic or tensed. I mean…even if they do in some way, it’s just so quiet. Milo telling Zack to take his clothes off before he rips them off, but not making a move to ‘make good’ on his observation or getting too agonized when it doesn’t happen like he expects... This whole story is so quiet. A quiet storm, isn’t that what they say? I feel like some big bang’s going to sneak up on me sooner or later, but right now I’m just enjoying the ride, following Zack along as he turns into something new. It’s like a metamorphosis, but except maybe without the colorful prettiness of a butterfly emerging. The fact that you actually did Milo/Zack slash boggles my mind because I know I requested it somewhere along the way, but I never thought it’d be more than a drabble. But here you go writing a whole one-shot about them and making it too interesting for its own good. Or maybe my own good. Now, especially, I’m not sure where you’re going to go with this story. From the get-go, I figured it’d be angst to the very ‘t’ because cults are serious things, and people usually dedicate massive amounts of energy and life to them. But you kind of showing a ‘passing of the torch’ makes me wonder if this scene would take place more at the end and have a sort of ‘Zack goes off into the sunset with his inherited cult, la di da’ or maybe somewhere in the middle and some crazy roller coaster of a plotline comes along after it. I’m wondering, also, if Milo’s words were meant to be some of his last, if not his very last. I don’t like telling you that ‘I’ll just have to wait and see’ because 1. I say it too much and 2. I really don’t like waiting. But your stories are some of the few that I’m too gone on to even bother trying to ignore. (by the way, I’m still waiting for that STR epilogue ;-p) So I guess I truly will just have to wait and see. By the way, I’m really into numerology and was curious what the number ‘23’ means. 2+3 = 5, and the number five, ironically, deals a lot with the ideas of freedom and adaptability/growth. Kind of weird how this plan (I guess?) of Milo’s is going to occur that day, and it correlates with him giving up leadership. In essence freeing himself. And Zack adapting to his new role. I’m pretty sure the number was random off your head (or was it? Let me know if it wasn’t. That would be interesting.), but I thought that was pretty cool. I mean, though, I am just grasping at straws. :-)

I would really like to see some more of this just so I can understand it more, get a better grasp on what's going on. I like how it makes you think, but at the same time more would make it so you think and then in the end you learn if you're right about what you're thinking, you know? Um, yeah. bye.
