This is a very clever format. It feels like we're in the mix of things, the halting seems like gasps of breath or even sobs. Very eloquent, I'm impressed.

This reads as if the author was gasping for breath when she wrote it - desperate. It's very different, and I like it a lot.

Slightly confusing, but very eloquently written. Wonderful, as always.

I love the halting format and hesitations in this. It really takes the reader reading aloud a time to adjust to the wonderful formatting. Marvelous work.
