Wow I really like the last stanza it really surprised me.

Sorry to burst your buble but there hasn't been single innocent person executed in the US since the death penalty was reinstated. THe fact that it requires 12 people to vote guilty, and to vote for the death penalty and the judge to uphold it AND the appeals court to uphold it pretty much eliminates the chance an innocent would die.

This was a very good piece of writing. Great emotions and I love the repaeting of:

it really adds a lot to the poem.

Great emotion in this and you did a fantastic job of getting your point across, and I agree on it as well.

I loved the repition in this, and the overall message, meaningfully conveyed in the last stanza. Great!
