These are my favorite 2 lines:

"I am your protection,

Shield, helmet, and sword."

simple, yet profound.

I had to write a poem like this for my english class. The format isn't the most inventive, and unless the reader is religious (which I am not) then I don't think they're going to take much from this piece.
