Don't Cry Over Spilled Milk 2007-11-16 . chapter 1Aw, I like this one--it reminds me of (and makes me miss) the holiday season. |
criti-sized 2007-02-09 . chapter 1This was a very nice poem. I thought the way you constructed it was well and entertaining. There were a few parts where I felt thrown off by the way it was put, but the poem was beatiful otherwise. |
Mosaic Stains 2006-12-23 . chapter 1A lovely poem indeed. It has a sweet, serene sense to it that makes you remember why you fell in love with winter and the holidays. It kind of brings this image of standing behind a large, french style window while the snow is falling just beyond it. But it isn't the image which gets you it's the warmness of the room, or a cozy fire at your back. Protecting you, hibernating you from the cold breeze outside, which you still feel apart of as the snow comes to land on the sill. Giving you that sense of flying you wrote of.
I know, I've over extended my review, so I'll end it here with lovely poem once again. |
Lady DreamWriter 2006-12-21 . chapter 1Absolutely breathtaking. the descriptions seem to just leap off the page. Great emotion too. You've really captured the true meaning of the holiday. |
TrueToMyself 2006-10-23 . chapter 1Bee-yoo-ti-ful. I really like this and the atmosphere it portrays. However, I didn't particularly like the third line. I don't really understand what it is trying to say, and it seems to be off the rhythm (in my opinion). Back to the good stuff: I love the rhythm, meaning, and rhyme of "A time whre every wrong deed is forgiven / A time where near nothing is truly forbidden."
