Beautiful piece! I can feel that desire for wanting something back that is just out of reach, wanting those voices back. Really powerful and emotive in the poetic language you use. I enjoy reading your writing so much, especially pieces like this one! :)

A different take from the usual "voices-in-my-head-get-them-out" kind of writing. I haven't seen many pieces in which the speaker actually likes the voices. Well done.
