I apparently have this ability to answer the phone while I'm 98% asleep and have a complete conversation with the person while I'm still 90% asleep. They say it makes sense, too. I love this, though. It reminds me of something I'd rather not remember (but that's not your fault).

judging by the title, this happened at around 1:35 am, after a blur of sleep? well done with the tone and the sheer beauty of simple words. "cut through me more than anything else". now that, is emotion.

This brings back so many memories. (Of this year especially).

This presents a vivid picture of the scene. It jumps right out at the reader and draws the reader into the situation. Good work.
