I have to say that this was quite fantastic. Honestly, it was probably one of the BEST Jane Austen-esque pieces of fiction I have ever read...though I must admit it did have one minor short-coming. IT SHOULD NEVER HAVE ENDED! I do hope you will grace us with an equally enthralling sequel.

Wow. Can I just say, this was one of the best stories I've read on this site!! I *loved* it!! you did a fantastic job adapting this story to modern day life.

Also, since you obviously like Jane Austen- Can I recommend a book for you to read? It's called "The Man Who Loved Jane Austen" and it's written by Sally Smith O'Rourke-- it's EXCELLENT!!

This story was very well written and i thought you made the switch in gender between mr darcy and miss bennet quite realistically.

if you ever decide to do a rewrite of this story, i would recommend making it a bit longer. a lot of hte plot detail was kinda rushed through and not really explained, especially hte grabriella wicks thing. i thought you could've expanded on that a lot and perhaps made their falling out a bit more dramatic- it seemed very juvenile and petty to me

all in all, i enjoyed reading this!

Great story; enough of the beloved "Pride and Prejudice" to keep it canon, but enough of your own special touch to keep it original. I loved Jane's thoughts at the beginning of each chapter and I think that you created Eddie and Frankie's characters wonderfully. Great job!

I wandered over here from fanfiction.net after reading the first two chapters because I couldn't wait to read the rest. I loved it! I loved the role reversals you did with Lizzie and Darcy and the whole thing just left me feeling gooey and warm, like Christmas or ice cream and cake or something :). Great work!

Totally realistic chapter. If anyone else had tried to write this, I don't think it would have been quite as believable. You showed a glimpse of another side of Frankie, for which I do not have a phrase for. I don't know why, but I don't really like Eddie. That's probably not too good, is it? He's the leading man, after all!

It took me about three weeks after I read the first chapter to get to read this second chapter. Hopefully I'll get caught up with your story this weekend!

aw its over! i'm sad now! man that was really great!! i absolutely LOVED it. are you gonna do a sequal or just leave it? i feel the same way about any sequal... in some ways it would be good and in others it would just ruin the story... so i dont really have a preference however i wouldve liked to have heard more about frankie and Eddie. but at the same time the last little bit last chapter that you heard about them was a great ending so- you see my point lol i guess its cuz i'm a woman and i'm allowed to not be able to make up my mind :) you did an amazing job with this story, i comend you!!

Perfectly ended - not too cheesy, a little surprise add-in with the being pregnant and all, and a realistic view of Frankie and Eddie's relationship thereafter. Excellent, my friend, quite excellent.

I thought this was really cute; a great story. And I enjoyed the twist of switching the characters around . . . I've read a few modern versions of P&P but this was definitely a top favorite.

(I don't know if this would be helpful but over on fanfiction.net, there is a category under Books for Jane Austen-inspired fan fic. I think this would be a hit with that crowd)
