I love planets, and poor little Venus is one of my favorites. I liked this freeverse. The ill-fated former twin sister of the Earth never gets credit for what it may have been before we came along. Very nice(:

um, interesting...what it presents...is rather straight forward...sounds like you just stepped out of a science class.

I don't see how this is a poem.

Pretty good. The idea is interesting, though I would have preferred maybe something a bit deeper, like ending with something apocalyptic, like, "Maybe Venus' people destroyed the beautiful oceans and paradise into a desert" or something like that. Only a small suggestion for constructive criticism of course (at least that's what it's meant to be). The poem's still interesting.
