The fact that 'death' seems to be lacking here is a beautifully-explored (or exploited) loose end. I like the ending. A really beautiful poem.

Beautiful; masochistic and depressing and so raw, vampiric - as the previous reviewer stated :D - and just really creepy in the way that reminds me of Angel (of Buffy/Angel-fame), which made me squee and giggle like mad and really want to ship this to my favs.
