tonight we bloom 2009-07-19 . chapter 1Way too good. I love the contrast between "tutus and scars" and the "sweet/smooth and sharpened rocks" in the first. It's just so beautiful.
I would love opinions from a talented writer like yourself on my work! It would mean a lot. |
Twilight Starr 2007-11-30 . chapter 1Beautiful poem. How true.

Nietzschean nightmares 2006-08-18 . chapter 1The ending was really unexpected, given that she was so soft and smooth and sweet, but the entire poem seemed to provide such lovely contrast that it fit. A true work of art, dirty windows. |
realityescapesher 2006-08-16 . chapter 1wow this is another one that i am absolutely in love with. every word in this is perfection. this is going on my favorite stories thinger. -aly |
poetic abortion 2006-08-08 . chapter 1"all dressed up in tutus and scars." -- Such a contrasting line almost sounding like an oxymororn, it is sweet and airy like the fairy-tale Daddy's little princess feel and just throws you into a world of questioning and "What . . .?" (which is good, really, because it differs from what you have started with and makes this girl slightly edgier, realer).
Lovlely, lovely. Just. So. Pretty.

sharpedgedpen 2006-08-08 . chapter 1This sounds like my younger sister...I love your wording and imagination when it comes to words that you normally wouldn't expect. Tutu's and scars are definitally interesting things to have mixed together. |
 Chaos Apple 2006-08-08 . chapter 1I /love/ this!
It's short. But I like it that way. It's better to be short and sweet than to try and lengthen it just to lose the message on the way.
About my poem...Alice? Did you really find the message? I'm not sure I made it stand out enough. |
Elle Blaisure 2006-08-08 . chapter 1Hmm, I liked it. Very sweet and reminded me of childhood inocence. Keep the good work up! |
Aella88 2006-08-07 . chapter 1Short, simple, and beautiful. I really like the first verse. I'm not sure why, but just the way they sound when I read it, even in my head. |
